If you are on the 3GB plan, your connection can also double as a backup connection for other primary connectivity you may have in your network.
The best option for your specific situation will vary. If you anticipate just needing a backup for a short time or to use with low-data-usage applications, such as POS, a low data allowance plan can be a solid solution. If you expect frequent primary connectivity failure during time of high internet usage, one of our primary business internet plans may be a better fit.
Backup internet refers to a secondary, standby connection for emergency failover if/when the primary (wired from another carrier) connection is interrupted. Low-data usage internet is a primary connection for businesses with minimal daily needs, such as IoT sensors, digital signage, and POS systems, among other potential uses.
