T-1 Digital Access

 

 

I.          RATES AND CHARGES: For new circuits installed on or after March 1, 2010, when the local loop is provisioned entirely on MCI Legacy Company-owned fiber (Type 1 – Lit Building), or on other Company facilities designated as Type 1 on the Guide, Type 1 monthly recurring charges apply.

 

1.         T-1 Digital Access Monthly Recurring Charges:

 

1.1            Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (prior to and after 124/1/223)-these charges apply to all circuits installed prior to and after December April 1, 20223, except that for certain circuits in legacy networks designated by Company, the prior charges will remain in effect as follows, unless such legacy network designated circuit is upgraded or downgraded, or the Customer agreement covering such circuit is replaced by a new, renewed or amended Customer agreement:

 

 

     For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (12/1/22 through 3/31/23);

 

     For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from June 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (6/1/22 through 11/30/22);

     For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from November 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (11/1/21 through 5/31/22);

     For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from October 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (10/1/20 through 10/31/21);

       For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from January 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (1/1/20 through 9/30/20);

       For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from February 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (2/1/19 through 12/31/19);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from July 1, 2018 through January 31, 2019, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (7/1/18 through 1/31/19);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from April 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (4/1/18 through 6/30/18);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from November 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (11/1/17 through 3/31/18);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2017 through October 31, 2017, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/17 through 10/31/17);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from June 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (6/1/16 through 2/28/17);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2016 through May 31, 2016, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/16 through 5/31/16);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/2015 through 2/29/16);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from January 1, 2015 through February 28, 2015, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (1/1/15 through 2/28/2015);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from May 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (5/1/14 through 12/31/14); and

       For certain legacy network designated circuits installed prior to 5/1/2014, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services III Monthly Recurring Charges (in effect prior to 5/1/2014).

 

1.2       Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (prior to and after 12/1/22)-these charges apply to all circuits installed prior to and after December 1, 2022, except that for certain circuits in legacy networks designated by Company, the prior charges will remain in effect as follows, unless such legacy network designated circuit is upgraded or downgraded, or the Customer agreement covering such circuit is replaced by a new, renewed or amended Customer agreement:

 

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from June 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (6/1/22 through 11/30/22);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from November 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (11/1/21 through 5/31/22);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from October 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (10/1/20 through 10/31/21);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from January 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (1/1/20 through 9/30/20);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from February 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (2/1/19 through 12/31/19)

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from July 1, 2018 through January 31, 2019, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (7/1/18 through 1/31/19)

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from April 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (4/1/18 through 6/30/18)

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2017 through March 31, 2018, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/17 through 3/31/18)

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from June 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (6/1/16 through 2/28/17)

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2016 through May 31, 2016, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/16 through 5/31/16);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/2015 through 2/29/16);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from May 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (5/1/2014 through February 28, 2015);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from July 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (7/1/13 through 4/30/14);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from May 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, Customer will pay Verizon Business Services II Monthly Recurring Charges (5/1/12 through 6/30/13); and

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed prior to 5/1/12, Customer will pay Verizon Business Service II monthly recurring charges (in effect prior to May 1, 2012).

 

1.3       Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges

 

1.4       Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (prior to and after 412/1/223) - these charges apply to all circuits installed prior to and after December April 1, 20223, except that for certain circuits in legacy networks designated by Company, the prior charges will remain in effect as follows, unless such legacy network designated circuit is upgraded or downgraded, or the Customer agreement covering such circuit is replaced by a new, renewed or amended Customer agreement:

 

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (12/1/22 through 3/31/23); 

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from June 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (6/1/22 through 11/30/22);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from November 1, 2021 through May 31, 2022, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (11/1/21 through 5/31/22);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from October 1, 2020 through October 31, 2021, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (10/1/20 through 10/31/21);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from January 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (1/1/20 through 9/30/20);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from February 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (2/1/19 through 12/31/19);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from October 1, 2017 through January 31, 2019, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (10/1/17 through 1/31/19);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/17 through 9/30/17);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from June 1, 2016 through February 28, 2017, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (6/1/16 through 2/28/17);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2016 through May 31, 2016, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/16 through 5/31/16);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from March 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (3/1/15 through 2/29/16);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from May 1, 2014 through February 28, 2015, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (5/1/14 through 2/28/15);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from July 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (7/1/13 through 4/30/14);

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed from September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Services I Monthly Recurring Charges (9/1/12 through 6/30/13) and;

        For certain legacy network designated circuits installed prior to 9/1/12, Customer will pay Pre-Verizon Business Service I monthly recurring charges (in effect prior to September 1, 2012).

 

1.5       Monthly recurring local loop charges for circuits installed prior to October 1, 1998.

 

2.         T-1 Digital Access Non-Recurring Charge. A $200 non-recurring per T-1 circuit charge applies.

 

3.         Access Coordination. The following charges will apply, per circuit only for circuits installed prior to October 1, 1998 and only if either: (1) the MCI Legacy Company orders the Local Loop; or (2) in the case of Customer-provided access, if the Customer has not provided written notice to the MCI Legacy Company that the Customer accepts responsibility for the design, installation coordination and ongoing coordination of testing and trouble resolution for the Local Loop.

4.         Central Office Connection. The following monthly recurring and non-recurring charges will apply, per connection, only for circuits installed prior to October 1, 1998, whether access is MCI Legacy Company ‑provided or Customer‑provided.

5.         Network Connection Charge. The following monthly recurring and non-recurring charges will apply, per connection, only for circuits installed on or after October 1, 1998, if access is Customer‑provided. These charges apply to all circuits with the exception of some circuits installed before March 1, 2013 on certain legacy networks designated by Company. For these designated circuits the Network Connection monthly recurring charges in effect prior to March 1, 2013, the applicable charge below will remain in effect, unless that circuit is upgraded or downgraded, or the Customer agreement covering such circuit is replaced by a new, renewed or amended Customer agreement.

The following monthly recurring and non-recurring charges will apply, per connection, to all circuits installed between March 1, 2013 and February 28, 2015 on certain legacy networks designated by Company. For these designated circuits the Network Connection monthly recurring charges in effect between March 1, 2013 and February 28, 2015, the applicable charge below will remain in effect, unless that circuit is upgraded or downgraded, or the Customer agreement covering such circuit is replaced by a new, renewed or amended Customer agreement.

6.         Cross Connect Charge. A monthly $50 charge will apply, and a non-recurring charge of $250 will apply, per connection, for circuits installed on or after October 1, 1998, for the electrical connection of a MCI Legacy Company T-1 Digital Access circuit to an interexchange carrier other than the MCI Legacy Company.

12.       Rates - Features

 

12.1     Channelized Access Line with Telco M24 Multiplexer. Charges will apply on an individual case basis.

 

12.2     Access Integration Option. A form of T-1 Digital Access which allows Customers to utilize their dedicated access lines to carry traffic for both an inbound and an outbound service over the same circuits.

12.3     Bullet Proof Guarantee. This feature is available only for circuits installed prior to October 1, 1998 at MCI Legacy Company-designated locations, and only for T-1 circuits enrolled prior to the 10th day in the month prior to the outage. Customers subscribing to this feature are guaranteed service restoral, within one minute, in the event of MCI Legacy Company-provided T-1 Digital Access circuit failure. If this timeframe cannot be met, the MCI Legacy Company will provide a credit to the Customer equal to one month's Local Loop charges, after any discounts and taxes, for the affected circuit. The credit will not include Central Office Connection (COC), Access Coordination (AC), ISDN PRI, and associated equipment charges. The monthly credit shall not exceed the discounted monthly recurring charges for the local access circuit. No credits will be provided for non-recurring charges. The credits will only apply when the Customer has reported the outage or interruption to the MCI Legacy Company, and the MCI Legacy Company, in its sole discretion, has verified that the Customer is eligible for the Guarantee.

 

This guarantee does not apply to the following:

 

·                  interruptions or outages caused by the Customer;

 

·                  in cases where Customer premises equipment is provided by the Customer or any third party;

 

·                  during the period of time that the Customer has released the circuit to the MCI Legacy Company for maintenance purposes, rearrangements or other order changes; or,

 

·                  when the Customer elects not to release the circuit for testing or repair and continues to use it on an impaired basis. This guarantee does not apply during busy conditions or MCI Legacy Company Network failures.

 

12.4     Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Service. ISDN integrates voice, data, and video communications services via standard interfaces.

 

12.5     Primary Rate Interface (PRI). Through PRI, a Customer can share access facilities among MCI 800 Service and Vnet, and MCI 800 Service and MCI Prism 1, and MCI Vision.   Each time a change in the number of Private Line DS0s is required, a PRI reconfiguration charge will be assessed.

 

After initial installation of the PRI trunk group, a Customer may choose to add or delete groups of B channels in DS1 blocks. Each time the trunk group size is changed, a trunk group rearrangement charge will be assessed.

 

Customers who elect PRI will be assessed the following charges, except that installation charges will be waived until further notice.

12.6     Call-by-Call Service Configuration. Allows the B channels within a PRI to be shared between services subscribed to on the PRI. Call-by-Call Service Configuration can be used in the following combinations: Vnet /MCI 800 Service and MCI Prism 1/MCI 800 Service. If the PRI is initially dedicated to a single service, it can be reconfigured to support Call-by-Call Service Configuration, and the rearrangement charge specified below will apply. Each time a service is added or deleted from an existing PRI trunk group, a service rearrangement charge will be assessed.

 

Customers who elect Call-by-Call Service Configuration will be assessed the following charge charges, except that installation charges will be waived until further notice:
