1. If you are not connected, check to make sure you have selected the correct eSIM option next to the “Use this SIM for cellular data” item in your laptop’s Cellular Settings.
2. If the message “Networks not activated” or if you are having difficulty activating your Windows Laptop eSIM contact verizon Customer Service:
If you're new to Verizon, you can sign-up for Verizon service by calling the Verizon business sales team at 1-844-976-4482.
If you already have Verizon service using your device's physical SIM card, you can port this number over or add a new service plan and new number to your eSIM through the My Business portal. Alternatively, you can contact us at 1-800-922-0204 to add service to your eSIM.
If your company is new to eSIM and uses a Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, check with your MDM provider to make sure your security settings are ready to enable eSIM usage.
3. If the eSIM profile is not ready on the server (or) the Laptop does not have Discover Server enabled, an error message will be displayed when selected “Search for available profiles” and clicked Next.
Solution: Follow from Steps 4B.1 in Cellular settings.
4. If devices are not activating due to firewall blocking eSIM profile downloads:
Whitelist the following two URLs in your respective firewalls and try to activate the device again
Note: These URLs use the standard SSL port of 443.
To set up a managed eSIM deployment, the enterprise customer must contact Verizon, provision the line(s) of service and obtain the eSIM download server address (SM-DP+). The enterprise then configures the policies and settings to be applied to all of their eSIM-capable Connected PCs, including the fully qualified domain name of the operator's SM-DP+. Customer Self Service - Log into My Business Portal Go to Manage > Bulk Services > New Service Activation > Let’s activate your devices > Bulk Activation
Verizon Sales Assisted - If the customer has a dedicated sales representative associated with their account, they can reach out to them to support the plan selection and activation process.
